Resourcing Workshop

Breaking Through the Loops

The Looping Problem:
Why So Many "Awake" People Have No Resourcing

A lot of people are struggling right now. Rising costs. Difficulty keeping up with commitments and somehow balancing it with some form of self-care.

And the curveballs that the cosmos presents to us that means a process might never be far round the corner.

When push comes to shove, when the curveballs come, many people actually do not have the tools or understanding to navigate these.

People wobble, implode, melt-down. They are unable to space-hold for themselves or others. And suddenly they realize that the tool-kit that they have isn’t really cutting it.

Padma has been observing the many forms of meltdown that people are experiencing right now. Alongside this, most people are not able to look karma squarely in the face and then to move on quickly by seeing the bigger picture and gaining a robust upgrade through the whole process.

2027 is a year that is foreseen in many prophecies. A gateway to our Higher Nature. But many people right now do not have the tools to navigate change and karmic ripening appropriately. Will we sink or swim?

In this first of 4 accessible satsangs, we will look at the important topic of Resourcing. We will introduce this concept as it exists in trauma-informed settings and modalities. However, after landing the group into the more ‘3D’ principles around resourcing and some of the great tools and modalities out there, Padma will then provide the necessary scaffolding that most people are currently oblivious to - the metaphysical, the subtle and the cosmic principles that are imperative for us to understand if we really want to become more robust as old lifestyles, systems and perspectives topple.

What Resourcing Actually Means

Resourcing isn't just a vague comfort word, it's a specific capacity: the nervous system's ability to stay regulated and present while something difficult, expansive, or karmically loaded is moving through you. Without it, even a small trigger can tip a person into collapse, rage, or dissociation, because there's no internal ballast to meet the charge.

However, resourcing does not begin and end at the nervous system or the body, and this is now being presenced by neuroscientists who are just beginning to catch up with what spiritual masters have known for millenia.

This is why so many senior practitioners melt down over things that, from the outside, look minor. They are either too preoccupied with the nervous system and safety that they become averse to challenge or change, or they’ve often built an impressive amount of spiritual knowledge and identity on top of a nervous system that was never actually resourced.

Real resourcing has to be built deliberately, and there are specific tools for doing it well.

In this satsang, some of the tools we will look at are

IFS and parts work. Many people are fragmented and overwhelmed because they have not developed healthy curiosity for the sub-personalities within their system. Acknowledgement of these provides power unburdening from outmoded behaviors and looping.

The Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM) works directly with the nervous system, using resourcing states – often connected to the earth, ancestors, or spiritual support – to help a person stay present while processing trauma, rather than being retraumatised by it. It's one of the most effective frameworks we know for building the kind of internal ballast that karmic material requires.

Pranayama works at the level of prana itself – the breath as a direct lever on the nervous system and subtle body. Where CRM builds ballast through connection and presence, pranayama builds it through the regulation of life-force, giving a person more raw capacity to hold intensity without depletion.

Astrology, practised properly, is less about prediction and more about learning to dance with karma rather than be flattened by it. Understanding your own cycles, timing, and patterns turns karma from something that happens to you into something you can meet with more skill and less panic.

Quantum Transfiguration works at a different layer again, helping a person move through multidimensional overwhelm, the kind of disorientation that comes when consciousness is expanding faster than the nervous system and energy body can integrate it. This is increasingly relevant as more people have expanded or unusual experiences without a framework to hold them.

None of these tools replace the others. Together, they build resourcing at the level of the nervous system, the breath, the karmic pattern, and the multidimensional field, which is precisely where the current looping is happening.

Padma will give a short break-down of how we might approach Resourcing from this multi-layered and multidimensional perspective, and explain where many people are currently short-circuiting because of a limited, usually somatic-heavy approach. She will also be drawing on sections of the Trauma Informed Approaches chapter of her book Dakini Weaving - Keys to the Golden Age.

You will be discussing this chapter in the break away groups, so it is recommended that you have read that chapter of the book if you wish to gain deeper knowledge however it is NOT mandatory, if you are feeling curious about this topic and just want to listen and reflect. Current students with Dharma STARS are expected to have read the chapter, and to be informal facilitators of their break away group.

We will probably give a short demo and there will be an opportunity for a quick Ask Me Anything section of this tutorial. Duration approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. If we have many attendees and questions we will run up to approximately 1 hour 50 minutes and there will be a short screen /comfort break.

This Is For You If...

– You have been on a spiritual or personal-development path for some time
– You have accumulated significant knowledge but still find yourself repeating certain patterns
– You experience disproportionate reactions to relational or interpersonal friction
– You want to develop greater capacity rather than simply acquire more information
– You are interested in karma beyond its popularised interpretations
– You want to engage more honestly with decolonisation and spiritual practice
– You work within groups, communities or collaborative spiritual spaces
– You are interested in collective energetics and human permaculture
– You have experienced spiritual or multidimensional expansion without always having the resources to integrate it
– You want to explore what it actually means to become more resourced

Four Places the Looping Comes From

In the lead-up to some book club sessions Padma will be running in the autumn linked to her book, we want to name four areas where we keep seeing people stuck in loops rather than moving through them:

KARMA

Most people have a vague, popular notion of karma – good deeds in, good luck out – rather than an understanding of it as a lawful, energetic process of cause, pattern, and consequence playing out across time. Without that understanding, karma just looks like random bad luck or persecution, and the person stays reactive to it rather than working consciously with it.

DECOLONISATION

Spiritual communities routinely extract from indigenous and traditional knowledge systems while leaving the actual politics, history, and power structures those systems emerged from unexamined. Skipping this work doesn't just create ethical blind spots but it keeps people's understanding of "spirituality" shallow and disconnected from land, lineage, and consequence.

COLLABORATION AND GROUP ENERGETIC

Very few people are taught how to conserve energy in group settings, read collective field dynamics, or apply even the most basic principles of human permaculture – how people, roles, and resources can be arranged so a group sustains itself rather than burning through everyone in it. Most groups leak energy constantly and nobody notices why.

RESOURCING

The one underneath all the others. Without it, karma feels unbearable instead of workable, decolonial work feels like an attack instead of an invitation, and group settings drain rather than nourish.

These four themes – karma, decolonisation, collaboration and human permaculture, and resourcing – are exactly what we'll be exploring in the book club sessions this autumn, alongside Padma Khandro's book. Our sense is that the coming period will ask more of people's capacity to stay resourced than it will ask for more spiritual knowledge, and we'd rather see people build that capacity now than discover the gap under pressure.

If you recognise yourself in any of this: the looping, the meltdown that seems disproportionate to the trigger, the sense of having done a lot of spiritual work without quite landing anywhere solid; this is exactly the territory the mentoring, readings, and Quantum Transfiguration work are built to address.

Breaking Through the Loops

Selected co-inquiry sessions and Book Club on Dakini Weaving – Keys to the Golden Age

These four sessions will explore the themes above alongside relevant chapters from Dakini Weaving – Keys to the Golden Age. Each session will give you an opportunity to engage with the material before coming together for deeper inquiry.

You’ll be invited to:
– Read the relevant chapter of Dakini Weaving Reflect on the questions and themes before the session
– Ask Me Anything session and commentary on sections of the book where relevant
– Explore the material through guided discussion
– Take part in small breakaway rooms for co-inquiry
– Reflect on how these themes may be operating in your own life, practice and relationships

You will be discussing the relevant book chapter in the break away groups, so it is recommended that you have read it if you wish to gain deeper knowledge however it is NOT mandatory. If you are feeling curious about this topic and just want to listen and reflect. Current students with Dharma STARS are expected to have read the chapter, and to be informal facilitators of their break away group.

The aim of these sessions it to more than just understanding the concepts is to create a space where you can examine the places you may still be looping and begin to understand what might allow you to move through them.

If you’re reading this and our real time sessions have past or you can’t make it live then you are welcome to purchase the recording of the session. We remind you that the deeper transmissions and opportunity to get your direct questions answered is prioritised to those attending the real-time call.
