Root Chakra Healing: Trauma, Karma & Discipline

This 9 day journey is really beneficial for people who are newer on their spiritual journey and wishing to clear energetic blocks, get some yogic tools and insights about the energy body.

Everything starts at the root and indeed, in these times it is also astrologically ‘up’ in the collective field for us to be examining ancestral wounding, feelings around not belonging, our sense of being anchored in the world and indeed our roots and origin stories.

Many people struggle to feel they arrived in this incarnation and body and it is absolutely vital to work on the root chakra to create a stable foundation for us to safely open to higher realisations.

So often we witness people in turmoil and looping because they do not have the tools and haven’t overcome the karmic blocks and samskaras which keep them from progressing. We need to get anchored into our body and ALSO, very importantly to work through the trauma and karma that has kept us procrastinating and non-disciplined.

One of the big keys to overcoming suffering is getting grounded enough to commit to, and complete a practice daily. For so many people, we have many obstacles and hindrances which just reinforce a sense of shame around not completing tasks or sadhanas.

When we actually ‘nail it’ to find discipline in our lives to ‘show up’ for daily sadhana it is a huge reclamation and revelation and life becomes so much easier but we do have to fight for it…

Facing Root Blocks in a Guided, Collective Container

This journey, simple and short as it is only 9 days, actually consistently challenges participants and shows them their blockages around the root, discipline, shame and completion of things. We are essentially working through some very deep ancestral and gestational material and this is why it can seem to tough, and so immense to complete.

This is why being in a collective, shared and held container is vital, and we are here with our decades of holistic, applied knowledge and practice to help you examine and work through the blockages.

This is especially apt in this time as our collective karmic development is greatly around overcoming shadow leadership traits and learning to step into community collaboration towards a higher timeline. Sharing space together and working through our blockages with the support and encouragement of our peers and instructors is immensely valuable to help us to move beyond feelings of separation and rootlessness.

Root Chakra & Serpent Wisdom Immersion

From 24th March (during the Serpent Wavespell) we will be running this 9-day Root Chakra immersion, plus 4 days integration and we have an expanded space-holding and teaching team on hand for this intake (see below).

Padma will still be overseeing and instructing the pranayama part of the immersion plus giving the chakra, DNA and energy body teachings and hosting 2 of the tutorials.

Kristin Rathje will be overseeing the yoga sadhana, hosting an optional practice session and co-hosting one tutorial with Madalena Banha.
