The Vedic astrological chart is a map of your soul's intentions for this lifetime. The karmic patterns you carry. The direction you are being called towards. And the deep intelligence woven into the timing of your birth.

What You Will Learn — Eight Modules
The course unfolds across eight recorded modules, building progressively from the foundations of chart reading through to the deeper karmic and soul layers.
Module 1 — How to Read a South Indian Vedic Chart:
Mavigate the grid, locate your Ascendant, begin working with your own chart from day one
Module 2 — The Nine Planets (Navagrahas)
The nature, significations and messages of each Graha, supported by the Dharma STARS planet video series
Module 3 — The Twelve Signs (Rashis)
The zodiac signs as the language through which planetary energy is expressed: elements, modalities, ruling planets, and how each sign colours whatever sits within it
Module 4 — The Houses (Bhavas)
The twelve domains of life, the key angular houses, and how to combine sign, planet and house into a full reading
Module 5 — The Karmic Axis: Rahu & Ketu
Your north and south nodes: what the soul carries from the past and where it is being called forward
Module 6 — The Atmakaraka
Your Soul Planet: the single most important indicator of your soul's deepest need, purpose and lesson
Module 7 — Introduction to the D9 (Navamsha)
The chart beneath the chart: a gentle opening to the secondary chart most important for soul dharma and relationships
Module 8 — Introduction to Deeper Topics
A gateway into Dashas, Nakshatras, Yogas, Aspects, Lordship, the Gandanta point, Parivartana and Vargottama, and Planetary Maturation. Enough to open the door without overwhelming.
How the Course Works
All eight modules are recorded and available to work through at your own pace.
Alongside the recorded material you will have access to the Dharma STARS planet video series as preparatory viewing for Module 2.
The course also includes two live 2:20-hour Zoom tutorial sessions with Padma, which are recorded for those who cannot attend live.
LIVE TUTORIAL DATES
1st Tutorial – OCT 17 @ 6PM UK
Q&A on the foundational modules, and a live walkthrough of a chart together.
2nd Tutorial – NOV 17 @ 5:30PM UK
Q&A for the first half hour, and then students bring their own charts and work in small groups with Padma's guidance. This is where the learning truly lands.
The Mystery Bonus
For students who show up consistently and keep pace with the material, there is a very special additional teaching waiting. This is something rare, drawn from another ancient tradition entirely, which maps onto the Vedic material in a profoundly illuminating way.
It will only be revealed to those who have earned it. The announcement will be made at Tutorial 2 in November.
What Happens After the Course
This course is designed to light the spark, not to make you a fully-formed astrologer overnight. Once you can read your own chart, the appetite for deeper understanding tends to follow naturally.
Madalena offers personal 1:1 chart readings for students who want dedicated astrological insight after completing the course. Padma's mentoring sessions offer the opportunity to integrate your chart understanding within the wider Dharma STARS spiritual framework and your own metaphysical and spiritual journey or timeline guidance.
And for those who find themselves drawn all the way in, this course is part of the Astrology elective for the Artha Certificate and Mentoring programme (alongside teachings from other systems) and the Artha Teacher Training. More advanced astrology pathways await in time. This is a wonderful opening to begin your journey with aligning with the Celestial bodies and upgrading your life path significantly!

YOUR TEACHERS
Padma Khandro Victoria Sinclair
Padma Khandro is a worldwide respected consciousness and holistic trauma-healing innovator with over 30 years of teaching experience and more than 35 years of study in esoteric wisdom traditions.
Padma has been studying astrology since 2008, with her current primary branches of enquiry being Jyotish (Vedic astrology), the Dreamspell calendar and the Chok q'il Sacred Mayan Calendar. A deeply initiated practitioner, Padma has spent over a decade in pilgrimage and ceremonial work in the Mayan lands of Mexico and Guatemala — working with wisdom-keepers, elders, visionaries and shamans, and training with Daykeepers in the Guatemalan Highlands. She is an initiate of the Order of the 7 Rays and has studied Jyotish with some of the tradition's most respected teachers including Ernst Wilhelm, Komilla Sutton, Dr Arjun Pai and Achala Mihajlović, with whom she currently receives one-to-one coaching including tuition in the rare and profound Kalachakra astrology system.
She is available for timeline work, metaphysical guidance and mentoring based on your chart and many novel offerings, using the Sacred Science of Jyotish as a blueprint to do deep multidimensional work to assist people to enter their Highest Pathways.
Madalena Banha
Madalena Banha is an energy medicine practitioner and Jyotish practitioner who offers chart readings and astrological support to students throughout their journey with Dharma STARS.
